Depot's centennial to be celebrated Sept. 6 with tea

In honor of the 1913-2013 centennial celebration of the Historic Pine River Depot, Heritage Group North will present Tea at the Station, a Petticoat Junction Function, from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at the depot as a kickoff to Heritage Days.

This event will be a ladies tea reminiscent of the 1913 time period. Bring your own tea cup and saucer. Hats and gloves are welcome and optional. A program will include remarks by local historian and archeologist Douglas Birk.
