The Chap to host Pound the Pavement for Pam ride July 27

The third annual Pound the Pavement for Pam event on Saturday, July 27, is an approximately 140-mile motorcycle and antique car ride with stops at three local establishments.

The ride goes on rain or shine. Registration will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at The Chap and Timbermist facilities in Merrifield and the ride will leave at 11 a.m.

Cost is $20 per registration, which includes evening meal and entertainment. Entertainment includes hammerschlagen, minnow races, door prizes, silent auction and live music by YNOTT.

Proceeds will be donated to a local individual struggling with a terminal health condition.
