Classic Car Show planned for Aug. 3

The second annual “Save Your Classic Rod” car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Breezy Point Ice Center.

All proceeds will go to support the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Us/Too, the prostate cancer support group of Crosby. Last year the show raised $2,700 plus an anonymous gift of $2,200 for a total of $4,900.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 20 cars selected by entrants and the top two peoples choice voted on by the spectators. Many door prizes and trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.

Show car registration is $15. Cars must be registered by 10 a.m. to be eligible for trophies.

Admission to the show is $3 per adult, two for $5 and kids under 12 are free. For more information contact Kent Brothen at 218-562-4563.
