Fifty Lakes Day to be celebrated Saturday

Fifty Lakes Day will be Saturday, June 29, with activities starting at 10 a.m. and running all day at Fifty Lakes City Hall and the Bar and Bottle Shop.

Events will include live music, vendors, food, games, bingo and a huge meat raffle.

One Man Johnson will provide music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Muddy Waters will play from 6-10 p.m.

Air Care helicopter will arrive around noon.

A horseshoe tournament will be at 1 p.m., and a frozen T-shirt contest and bake walk at 2 p.m.

The meat raffle will start at 3 p.m. Family bingo will take place at 3:30 p.m.

Firefighters and first responders will serve a pork roast dinner at 5 p.m. The Lions Club will serve pork chops on a stick.

Raffle tickets for different prizes are on sale at city hall, 50 Lakes Bar and Bottle Shop and from firefighters and committee members.
