The Crosslake Area Library offers Summer Club, a =six-week program for kids in grades K-5 who will track their summer reading for incentives and enjoy entertainment.
Programs will include a magician, the Raptor Program from Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, and a master rocket expert who will present and launch live rockets.
All participants get a T-shirt, a free book and prizes.
The club will meet Thursday mornings from July 11 to Aug. 15. Kids in grades K-2 will meet from 9-10:15 a.m., and older grades will meet from 10:15-11:30 a.m.
There is a $5 fee with scholarships available.
Class size is limited. Register at the Crosslake Community Center or Library by June 15. For more information, call the library at 218-692-7323 (READ).
