Grace United Methodist to host rummage sale

There will be something for everyone at the annual Grace United Methodist Church rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 28.

Shoppers will find good, clean clothing at the bag sale, vintage jewelry and better clothing at the Boutique and useable household items. The big tents will be up and filled with furniture, tools, toys, sports equipment and baby items all at reasonable prices. Some items will be consigned.

Proceeds will go toward the mission of the church.

Pequot Lakes community members are invited to donate items for the sale. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 24-26. No large appliances, computers or televisions will be accepted.

Consignments of cars, boats, snowmobiles, lawn mowers or other big items are welcome with a 15 percent selling fee to the church. Or these items can be donated.

The church is 1.7 miles south of the stoplight in Pequot Lakes. For more information, call the church at 218-568-5755.

A sloppy joe lunch will be served each day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The UMW ladies will have freshly baked goods for sale both days. Fair Trade coffee will be sold at the Coffee with Grace tent on Thursday, June 27.

There will be plants/perennials for sale each day.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
