Crow Wing County announces 'Health Matters' television program to air monthly

“Health Matters,” a television program hosted by Crow Wing County Health and Social Services Division Manager Gwen Anderson, will air monthly on local cable access Channel 8.

The first program on mold education and prevention aired in early May and featured a discussion with Jenn Mount, program coordinator and public health nurse. In June, information will be presented on the Women, Infant and Children’s (WIC) Nutrition Program.

For more information on upcoming topics and broadcast dates and times, visit the “Health Matters” page on the Crow Wing County website at

The video of each program will be uploaded onto YouTube and linked to the webpage.

Suggestions on upcoming topics are welcome.

“Viewer input would be appreciated,” Anderson said. “We want to cover topics that are of interest to the residents of the county.”
