City may seek grants for shuttle service
The city of Manhattan Beach will look into the possibility of applying for grants to help fund the Safe Ride shuttle service there, according to draft meeting minutes of the city council’s April 2 meeting.
Council member Clyde Brodt owns the service. The draft minutes show he said he was approached by a coalition against drunk driving in Minnesota, which said his company is one of few that has stayed in business.
