Vendors sought for Cars 'n' Que event May 4

Vendors are sought for the Cars ‘n’ Que event May 4 on Barclay Avenue in Pine River, presented by Jr.’s No. 19.

Vendors will set up at 1:30 p.m. and be open for business from 2-8 p.m. The Pine River-Backus Family Center will sell the spaces for set up along the first two blocks of Barclay Avenue. Vendors can set up right on the street because it will be closed.

A 10- by 10-foot space will cost $30. Contact Leslie Bouchonville at 218-587-4292 by April 26 to reserve a space.

Cars ‘n’ Ques events include a BBQ Rib Contest from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the City Park with proceeds going to the Wadena Eagles Club; a car show from noon to 4 p.m.; a pig roast adjacent to the car show with proceeds going to the Pine River Food Shelf; a beef/burger stand adjacent to the car show; a Porsche food drive with all proceeds going to the Pine River Food Shelf; a street dance with music provided by Jr.’s No. 19 East Barclay Street Band featuring Dawn L. (Atlantic Records recording artist); dance games; and beer gardens and dining.
