KRLS surveys county residents
Kitchigami Regional Library System (KRLS) is looking for information that will help it redesign its outreach services to residents in Beltrami, Cass, Crow Wing, Hubbard and Wadena counties who live outside of the 11 cities that have branch libraries or associate community libraries.
“We know that the bookmobile doesn’t have a long future,” said library director Marian Ridge, “and the best thing that we can do right now is gather information. We need to know the service priorities of our library users who live outside of our cities. We need to know what technology they have. That information will help us develop new services that will meet public need. We hope to have pilot projects in place by the end of the year so that we can test their success.”
The survey is available on the KRLS website at www.krls.org or on paper from the mobile library until the end of April.
