Two arrested in connection with meth lab

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl announces the arrest of two men in connection with a meth lab within the city of Brainerd.

Arrested were Kyle Delane Johnson, 30, Baxter, and Curtis Arnold Larson Stapleton, 30, Nisswa.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, April 4, Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division (LADID) agents received information about a meth lab at an apartment located at 810 Walnut St., Brainerd. Brainerd Police and Crow Wing County deputies were able to secure the apartment and arrest Johnson and Stapleton.

Upon arrival of LADID agents, they discovered a meth lab in the apartment.

The lab was not in operation at the time. However, all the necessary components and precursors were present.
