Department of Revenue to offer free electronic filing for property tax refunds

Rep. John Ward, DFL-Baxter, informs constituents about a new program with the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Starting March 25, the Minnesota Department of Revenue will begin offering free electronic filing for homeowners who qualify for a property tax refund.

This is the first time the Minnesota Department of Revenue has offered a free online filing solution for individual property taxes.

“Many of us are already used to e-filing our federal and state income taxes and is this just another step in making tax filing season a little less of a pain,” said Ward.
