Crosslake St. Patrick's Day festivities listed

The 39th annual Crosslake St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration runs through Sunday, March 17, with various festivities.

The annual parade will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The parade will start in Crosslake Town Square and will wind its way to County Road 3 before heading north on Route 66.

Following is the schedule of events:

Thursday, March 14

The hunt for the lost Pot O’ Gold begins. Clues will be available at local merchants and posted at 9 a.m. daily through Saturday, March 16, at Find the Pot O’ Gold and bring it to Lake Country Crafts & Cones on County Road 66 to win a prize basket, including $100 in Chamber Bucks.

Saturday, March 16

7:30 a.m.-noon: Crosslake Firefighters Pancake Breakfast at Crosslake Lutheran Church Kids, featuring a coloring activity and beads for all the kids.

Sunrise-11 a.m.: RE/MAX hot air balloon tether rides at Manhattan Beach Lodge, weather permitting. Participants must be age 10 or older.

11 a.m.–2 p.m.: Pre-Parade in Crosslake Town Square. Parade lineup will begin at noon at Swann Drive and Allen Avenue, featuring Maucieri’s Food & Beverage Cart, music by the Chmielewski Funtime Band and clown entertainment by A Touch of Magic Clowns.

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Edina Realty Foundation second annual Costume Contest at Edina Realty, featuring Prairie Bay’s SideDish Food Truck. Prizes will be awarded at 1 p.m.

11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Parade participant shuttle service offering free transportation from the C&C Boatworks parking area to parade staging in Crosslake’s Town Square (for parade participants only).

2 p.m.: 39th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade featuring WJJY’s $150 Enthusiasm Award, Best Business Trophy Award (and/or Chamber Bucks) and Best Non-Profit Award (Chamber Bucks). Parade will go from Crosslake Town Square to north on Route 66.

3-4:30 p.m.: Post-Parade in Crosslake Town Square featuring Maucieri’s Food & Beverage Cart, music by the Dirty Shorts Band and clown entertainment by A Touch of Magic Clowns.

4-8 p.m.: Live music by SO Big at Manhattan’s at Manhattan Beach Lodge.

4 p.m.-closing: DJ Marathon with Premier Party Entertainment at Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar.

4 p.m.-closing: Variety of bands at Maucieri’s.

4:30-8 p.m.: Live music by Taylor Nelson at McCabe’s Pub & Bottle Shop.

5 p.m.-closing: Live music by Rockin’ Bakken at Crosslake-Fifty Lakes American Legion.

9 p.m.-closing: DJ Music at The Wharf.

Sunday, March 17

4 p.m.: St. Patrick’s Raffle Ticket Drawing Party at Manhattan’s at Manhattan Beach Lodge featuring karaoke and food and drink specials. Raffle drawings begin at 5:30 p.m.
