PR-B Tigers girls' season ends

The Pine River-Backus Tigers girls' basketball team came up short in its

quest for a first-ever trip to the state tournament.

The team lost 47-41 to the Upsala Cardinals on Friday night, March 8, at the Section 5A championship game played in Crosby-Ironton. Instead, Upsala will advance to its first state tournament.
