Benefit planned Feb. 16 for Wicks family

A benefit for Quinton and Vanessa Wicks will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Harriet Club.

Vanessa and Quinton lost their first born child, Kayden, three years ago because of pregnancy complications. They had a miscarriage after their first loss and during this pregnancy Vanessa had been confined to bed rest at St. Cloud Hospital since Dec. 12 with the same type of complications she experienced three years ago.

The baby, Camden Allen Wicks, was born on Saturday, Feb. 2, about four weeks early.

Hospital bills and expenses continue to climb for this young couple. All proceeds will go to the couple to help alleviate some pressure.

The benefit will include a roast beef dinner from 4-8 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. A silent auction will run from 4-11 p.m. and Karaoke from 8 p.m. to close.

Donations can also be made at Pine River State Bank under Quinton and Vanessa Wicks Benefit.
