Rosemary Broiled Tomatoes

2 medium tomatoes, cut in half and cores removed

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/3 cup fresh bread crumbs (an old loaf of french bread works well, cut into small pieces)

2 teaspoons fresh rosemary

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Parmesan cheese, optional
