The Pine River Good Samaritan Society therapy team continued its tradition of dressing up for the Good Samaritan Society bowling event Monday, May 5, showing up at Pine River Community Bowl dressed as the Three Little Pigs and a Big Bad Wolf.

The Good Samaritan Bowl raised $80,467 through its bowling fund raiser at Pine River Community Bowl and Jack’s House in Brainerd. The Pine River event alone raised nearly $10,000.

Not all participants dressed in costume, but all teams contributed to the fundraiser during year 11 of the event.

The annual event is held the first Sunday and following Monday in May each year. All funds raised will be used for facility remodeling and senior programs for local Good Samaritan Societies that fall outside of normal budgetary availability.
