Arvid Lundin, clerk of the village council, received word last week that legislation was passed whereby the state could deed the local armory to the village. In other words, the armory comes to the village as a gift.

The local Post of the VFW will sponsor a popularity contest in conjunction with the ticket sales for its convention dance to be held June 10.
