Lyme disease support advocates to gather

Disability Day on the Hill is March 18, representing an opportunity for people affected by Lyme disease and co-infections to educate legislators and impress upon them the impact this disease is having on the lives of Minnesotans.

Lyme disease support advocates hope to bring attention to the following issues: lack of Lyme literate physicians; issues that Lyme patients are facing with insurance coverage; and Minnesota Bill 1252, which was passed and is now in trial until 2015. Learn about this at

To be part of this upcoming event with the Minnesota Lyme Action & Awareness Coalition and visit the State Capitol, contact Judy Dwire at 218-251-1959.
