Sample a variety of chocolate treats and vote for your favorites. Enjoy specialty coffees and a variety of wines to enhance the chocolate experience. Delight in live music by area guitarist Larry Kimball of Walker, and take a sweetheart photo by professional photographer LeAnn Overbeek of Studio 64.

Cost is $10 for six chocolate samples, and $10 for six wine/coffee samples.

Bring home plates of chocolate and themed baskets from the silent auction, or pick up “A Chocolate Recipe Book.”

New this year are pre-purchased VIP tickets that get you speedy admission, unlimited sampling of chocolate, wine and coffee, and a chance to win a door prize.

There are still openings in the Ultimate Chocolate Challenge and prizes will be awarded for professional and amateur entries. There is no entry fee for the Ultimate Chocolate Challenge. Register by March 16. For full rules and an application, contact Faith in Action for Cass County or the HOWA Family Center.

“The Chocolate and Wine Affair is such a classy, fun event,” said Faith in Action Director Theresa Eclov. “I enjoy seeing the creative local talent, both amateur and professional, and I learn something new about chocolates and wines each year.”
