Transitions and loss can be difficult. Good Samaritan Society is offering a seminar presented by author and educator Ted Bowman examining the crossroads between professionalism and humanity in working with people in times of change.

“Meeting at a busy intersection: change, loss, grief, and hope” will be presented from 9-11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. Cost is $20 and includes materials. Refreshments will be served.

The seminar will provide information for professionals who work with clients and families facing transitions, whether it is changes in health, environment or loss. Also welcome are families and caregivers looking for resources on coping with change, decline and loss.

Registration is encouraged online at or by calling 218-963-9452.
