From the Pine River Journal

Reports have been made of a mosquito in Warroad in December, a butterfly in November at Hector, a caterpillar at Morristown, strawberries in Pine River, cotton growing in Atwater, pussy willows at Clarissa, and a garter snake out for a lively stroll in Starbuck.
