Faith in Action fundraiser draws many winners

In celebration of another successful raffle fundraiser, Faith in Action for Cass County held its Raffle Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Faith in Action Office in Hackensack.

First prize: 2013 Magnetic Metallic Polaris Ranger 500 Four-Wheeler, plus trailer, won by James Acker of Backus. 

Second prize: $1,000 won by Kent Booth of Clearwater.    

Third prize: $500 gift card for Hackensack Lumber and Do-It-Best Hardware, won by Paula Pederson of Irving, Texas.  

Fourth prize: Golf package from Black Bear Golf Complex, won by Buck Carlson of Hastings.  

Fifth prize: Golf package from Tianna Country Club in Walker, won by Bruce Reeve of St. Paul.

Sixth prize: Pizza-a-Month for a Year from Lucette’s in Hackensack, won by Lisa Davis of Jamestown, N.D.

Seventh prize: $50 gift card from Godfrey’s (Backus), won by Ed Haefner of Hackensack.

Eighth prize: $50 gift card from Southside Station (Hackensack), won by Dom Hamed of Olin, Iowa.

Ninth prize: Water Test Kit from Drinking Water Test Kit.com of Hackensack, won by Greg Demars of Ham Lake.

10th prize: $50 gift card from Mark’s Market of Hackensack, won by Ron Paulson of Walker.

11th prize: $50 gift card from Pine River Family Market, won by Andy Ellering of Breezy Point.   

12th prize: $50 gift card from Swanson’s Bait & Tackle of Hackensack, won by Jerry Mafser of Fairmont.   

13th prize: $50 car wash gift certificate from One Stop Station of Longville, won by Keith Nason of Blaine.          

14th prize: $50 gift certificate from Clem’s Hardware in Cass Lake, won by Doug Wuollet of Cokato.   

15th prize: $50 gift card from Mark’s Market of Hackensack, won by Melissa Hughes of St. Paul.  

The top ticket sellers were Faith in Action volunteers Allen Bonk and Russ Torkelson, and local businesses Southside Station of Hackensack and Lucky Moose of Walker.

“I credit the success of the raffle on the support Faith in Action has received from local businesses, organizations and volunteers who helped sell tickets,” said Executive Director Theresa Eclov.  

The raffle is Faith in Action’s largest fundraiser of the year.
