Benefit planned Sept. 28 in Jenkins for Berry family


A benefit picnic lunch for Sara and Merle Berry will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Jenkins VFW.

Sara, the daughter of Roger and Debbie Martin, is on dialysis again awaiting a second kidney transplant. She has extended stays at the University of Minnesota for treatment and takes trips to St. Cloud with overnight stays as well.

Proceeds from the benefit will help with medical costs and other expenses.
