For the fourth consecutive year, residents from Pine River and neighboring towns who were once neighbors in Murray County, gathered to renew old friendships at a good old fashioned picnic dinner on Norway Lake Sunday.

In Youth it sheltered me---

The same thing might be said in Pine River this past week as the news suddenly dawned on the city dwellers that the stately old maple trees which grace the boulevard in front of the clinic and library might be a sacrifice for the new highway construction.
