What's up at The Warehouse

Week of Aug. 8-15

Friday, Aug. 9: Open to students entering 5th-12th grade and families. Showing on the big screen “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” no cost and free refreshments will be served.

Monday, Aug. 12: Simply Good Cooking and nutrition class for adults at no cost and all material provided from 10 a.m. to noon.

Also, field trip out to Trout Lake Camp for students entering 5th-12th grade from 2-5 p.m. Cost is only $3 for the wiffle ball and kickball field trip. Permission slips are required for the free transportation from The Warehouse to Trout Lake Camp and may be turned in on the day of the field trip along with the $3. Permission slips may be found at The Warehouse and on our website at

Tuesday, Aug. 13: Gardening with Bill for students entering 5th-12th grade at no cost from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and a free snack is provided.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
