She has volunteered at the Children’s Hospital as a part of her service. She helped children in the hospital by interfacing between doctors, family and ill children.

She has also started an initiative to teach proper exercise and nutritional eating (reading nutritional labels on food products).

Erickson is considering two career paths. The first is marine biology where she has worked in the Bahamas. She has spent many hours in the water with many varieties of sharks and other water animals. She is also considering medical school.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
