From the Country Echo

Summer residents on East Clark Lake Road in Lake Edward Township will be in for a surprise when they come back this spring. They’ll find the trees that formed a canopy along the winding, sandy road have been chopped down for a road widening and blacktopping project.

The Nisswa Inn will re-open on Thursday, April 5, under the management of Christine Cronk, formerly owner-operator of the Colony Inn, Lakeshore Village.

Renovation and construction now in progress at Breezy Point Resort on Pelican Lake are phases in a $10 million, long-term project designed to develop the resort as a year-around vacation spot. The most apparent construction is expansion of the Marina Inn on Breezy Bay, flanked by 12 of 46 planned units in The Point Condominiums.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
