Buddhism is topic of March 26 presentation in Brainerd

The Center for Lifelong Learning at Central Lakes College will focus on Buddhism during its March Spotlight on Religion from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the Brainerd Campus of CLC.

Herb Ollila, philosophy faculty at Central Lakes College, will lead this informative session regarding Buddhism and focus on several topics, including beliefs of the major world religions, as well as what these religions have to offer on ideas such as origin of the universe, omnipotent power, role of human beings, basis of morality and nature of death.

Cost to attend this event is $6 for non-members or free for those with a Center for Lifelong Learning membership. Pre-registration is recommended and can be made by calling 218-855-8142.
