Persons of all ages are welcome to our handicap accessible sites. You must bring social security cards (your tax forms will be adjusted by federal and state if incorrect social security numbers and names have been given to counselors), W-2s, 1099s, last year’s tax forms, child care expenses and any other information needed to complete your tax forms. Bring your 2013 and 2014 property tax statements to complete your federal taxes. E-filers must bring social security cards for proper input information. 2013 property tax refund requires your 2014 property tax statement for home owners and 2013 CRPs for renters refund.

Beginning Jan. 1 for 2013 income tax, the State of Minnesota will no longer issue paper checks for refunds, they will only direct deposit or issue debit cards.

We are looking forward to helping again this year. If you have any questions about this service, contact Patty Herheim, Cass County District Coordinator at 218-342-3373 or Carolyn Rude at 547-2085, or any of the counselors listed below.
