Good Samaritan Society offers Living Well with Diabetes program

Good Samaritan Society-Communities of Brainerd and Pine River is offering a Living Well with Diabetes Program starting Thursday, Jan. 16, from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Brainerd-Woodland Campus, 300 Buffalo Hills Lane.

The six-week course will meet once per week and is free and open to the public.

The Living Well with Diabetes Program teaches skills for managing symptoms, fighting fatigue, eating healthy and communicating effectively with your doctor and other healthcare professionals. The sessions also provide knowledge and information to better equip individuals for day-to-day living with diabetes for an improved quality of life.
