Mental health first aid course offered in Brainerd


The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota will hold a free mental health first aid training course from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd.

The course is designed to teach the basic first aid skills needed to help a person who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. This eight-hour course is aimed at improving mental health literacy.
