Record memories for future generations at Pequot Lakes workshop

Have you ever wanted to write down your childhood memories to pass down to your children and grandchildren?

At a workshop called A Time to Remember, you will be guided in creating your own collection of stories that will be treasured forever by your family.

Through a series of questions, you will write 15-20 short stories that will capture your childhood memories perfectly. No writing experience is necessary, just a willing heart and spirit.

Instructor Mary Jo McCarthy, short story author and biographer, will offer the workshop once a month; you only need attend one workshop. Bring two pens, a notebook, a bag lunch and a beverage.

The next workshop will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 3, at the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, 30028 Old Highway 371.

Fee is $30 per workshop. The minimum required for the workshop is five; maximum is 10.
