There was a definite chill in the air, but that didn’t stop families from participating in Santa’s Bobbin’ Into Town events Saturday, Dec. 14, in downtown Pequot Lakes.

Children crowded around Mrs. Claus and Santa at the Pequot Lakes Library for story time, as well as crafts and goodies.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides carried travelers around Pequot Lakes and through Trailside Park, where a bonfire kept people warm.

Children ate hot dogs at The Hungry Loon Café, and then had their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Jack Pine Center.

The day culminated with the Light Up The Night Parade featuring a dozen lighted entries traveling down Government Drive.
