HomeHealth Partnership to light Tree of Love Dec. 9 in Crosby

HomeHealth Partnership of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby will celebrate the 29th annual Tree of Love with a program of music, refreshments and reflection at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.

The public is invited to pay tribute to a loved one by making a monetary gift to the Tree of Love and attending the program.

The Tree of Love, located across from the main campus of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, is a tree lit by red and white strings of lights that represent donations by individuals or groups in honor of, or in memory of someone they admire or love.

A red light bulb honors someone living and a white light bulb represents someone deceased.

Donations to the Tree of Love will be contributed to HomeHealth Partnership hospice care, a service that provides compassionate care for people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.

It involves a team approach to expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support. A vital part of hospice care is providing support to the family and loved ones of patients.

A $10 donation is required to sponsor a light bulb on the Tree of Love. To be acknowledged at the Tree of Love program, donations must have been received by Dec. 3.

HomeHealth Partnership hospice donations are also accepted at any time of the year. For more information, visit or call HomeHealth Partnership at 218-546-2311.
