Sertoma Winter Wonderland runs Nov. 29-Dec. 31 at arboretum in Brainerd

The Sertoma Winter Wonderland will open Friday, Nov. 29, and run through Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd.

View lighted holiday displays by car from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays. Additional dates through the holidays include Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 23-25, and Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 30-31.

Special events are planned on some Sundays: a horse hay ride from 5:30-9 p.m. Dec. 8 and 22, and a walk, sled, ski event from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Vehicles aren’t allowed to drive through the park on these special event evenings.

Cost is $12 per vehicle and $50 for small buses and limousines. Discount coupons are available for $2 off Thursday-Saturday visits.

The Brainerd Area Sertoma Club created the Winter Wonderland in 2007 as a family holiday tradition where viewers take a driving tour through the arboretum with just their parking lights on to see more than 80 colorfully animated, lighted displays.
