Dressed in bright yellow T-shirts, supporters of Mounted Eagles, a therapeutic horsemanship program, took to the Paul Bunyan Trail from Pequot Lakes to Nisswa on a hot, humid Saturday, Sept. 7, to raise money for the organization.

The annual Mounted Eagles Walk-N-Roll featured walkers and bikers who traveled the six miles from the Pequot Lakes chamber building to the Nisswa Community Center, where they had an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner, listened to music and bid on items at a silent auction. Grand marshals were Rocky Hart and Isaac and Isaiah Stange.

Mounted Eagles is a PATH-accredited therapeutic horsemanship program and has been providing services to adults and children with disabilities since 1992. The program is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving individuals who live in Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Morrison and Todd counties.
