Scattered rain showers doesn't deter boat enthusiasts

Despite scattered rain showers, many from across the state viewed more than 70 boats on display, six of which were built in the 1920s, at the 26th annual Whitefish Chain Antique and Classic Wood Boat Rendezvous at Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar in Crosslake on Saturday, July 27.

In addition to viewing the boats, spectators and skippers voted for their favorite boats. The winners are as follows:

Skipper’s Choice: Lee Anderson’s 1929 Tolka.
