Rain doesn't deter spectators at Cherry Car Show

Despite scattered showers to bring in the first day of June, the Cherry Car Show in Trailside Park in Pequot Lakes attracted many spectators Saturday, June 1.

The event was hosted by the Pequot Lakes/Breezy Point Lions Club.

In total, 69 cars were registered for the show with Gary Braun winning first prize in the peer’s choice contest with his 1967 Pontiac GTO followed by Deb Markuson with a 1956 Ford Victoria and Larry Rasmussen with a 1938 Chevy two-door sedan.
