Monroe Crossing to participate in 'History of Bluegrass' workshop, concert in Pequot Lakes

Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts will bring two back-to-back musical opportunities to Pequot Lakes on Saturday, Feb. 9, featuring Monroe Crossing, a bluegrass and gospel quintet.

Monroe Crossing will lead a one-hour workshop on “The History of Bluegrass” from 4-5 p.m. in the Pequot Lakes High School choir room, and will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium.

Attend both programs for the price on the concert ticket. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (age 60 and older) and $8 for youth.

Tickets for this family-style entertainment are on sale now through the Pequot Lakes Community Education office. Call 218-568-9200 to reserve a ticket for both activities.
