Lineup: Scandinavian musicians: Jæ’ Sweevers Trio, Denmark; MAAR trio, Norway; and Ellinor Fritz and Leonor Palazzo, Sweden. American groups and individuals: Ripple River Fiddlers, Saana, Ole Olssons Oldtime Orkestra, Skål Klubben Spelmanslag, Ivares Pojkarna, Loretta Kelley, Skålmusik, the American Swedish Institute Spelmanslag, Twin Cities Hardingfelelag, Hutenanny, Finn Hall Band, the Footnotes, the Twin Cities Nyckelharpalag and Nordic Bees.
Friday, June 6
10 a.m.-3 p.m.: Scandinavian music and dancing workshops, Nisswa area, open to public. There is a fee involved. Email Janet Hill for information at email@example.com.
7 p.m.: Gala Opening Sampler concert, Lutheran Church of the Cross, Nisswa, $15 per person. All tickets available only at the door. Sales start at 6 p.m.
9:30 p.m.-1 a.m.: Old-time dance featuring several bands, Nisswa American Legion
Saturday, June 7
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Nisswa-stämman Festival, Nisswa Pioneer Village, $10 for adults and $1 for children 15 and under. All tickets available only at the gate.
4:30-6 p.m.: Smorgasbord, Nisswa American Legion, $15. Tickets available Friday night and Saturday at the events.
7 p.m.-1 a.m.: Old-time dance featuring even more bands than Friday night, Nisswa American Legion.
No pets and no smoking are allowed on the Nisswa Pioneer Village grounds.
