Legacy Chorale to stage concerts

The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota Spring concert series features “Legacy on Broadway” and runs Friday-Sunday, April 25-27.

This show will take the audience down Broadway’s memory lane, from “Give My Regards to Broadway” to “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In” from the show “Hair,” to “Dancing Queen” from the show “Mama Mia.”

Sarah Aamot is director, and the chorale is accompanied by Laura Raedeke. There will be special guest musicians.

Concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at First Lutheran Church in Aitkin; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake; and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Tornstrom Auditorium, Brainerd.

Concert tickets will be available at the door, or in advance at the Brainerd Dispatch, Bethany Bookstore of Baxter, Aitkin Independent Age and Lakes Printing in Brainerd. The concert is free to students age 18 and younger.

The next event will be the annual Autumn in New York five-course gourmet dinner complete with entertainment and a silent auction hosted at Madden’s Resort at 6 p.m. Sept. 27.
