Travel around the world with Heartland Symphony Orchestra
The Brainerd High School Chamber Orchestra will join the Heartland Symphony Orchestra (HSO) to “Travel around the world with the HSO” as it showcases orchestral masterworks from France, Italy, Russia and the Czech Republic.
HSO’s spring concert series, “Around the World with the HSO,” will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in the Charles Martin Auditorium in Little Falls, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd.
HSO will celebrate the 2014 Composers’ Competition Winner, Kenyon Wilson, and the world premiere of his winning composition, “Subterfuge.”
Tickets are available online at www.heartlandsymphony.org and at Great River Arts Center and Little Falls Radio in Little Falls; and at the Brainerd Dispatch and Bridge of Harmony in Brainerd.
Tickets will be available at the door for all HSO concerts. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for all youth through high school.
