Great River Strings to present spring concerts

The Great River Strings, directed by Richard Aulie, and the Ripple River Strings and Mandolin Orchestra, directed by Arnie Anderson, will celebrate the beginning of spring with “In The Garden of Earthly Delights” concerts in Crosby and Aitkin.

Concerts will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the Crosby-Ironton High School Auditorium, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in the Butler Building Opera House in Aitkin.

A variety of music will feature composers from Mozart, Grieg and Vivaldi to Bernstein and Joplin, as well as music especially written by Anderson for the Ripple River Strings and the Mandolins.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and free for children under 6. There is a $20 maximum per family.
