There will be a disc jockey spinning ’80s music, a dinner and cash bar, photo booth and silent auction gifts. Those attending are encouraged to dig up their best fluorescent leggings, use hairspray to set bangs straight up in the air and get ready to dance the night away.

The Retro ’80s prom fundraiser will be from 7-11 p.m. Nov. 16 at Arrowwood Lodge in Baxter. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased by calling Kathy Carlson, program manager, at 218-454-0460, ext. 3, or visit the event webpage at http://bspmfe.wix.com/newpathways.

Businesses that would like to sponsor a table at the dance may contact Carlson or see the website for more information.

New Pathways, Inc. is a nonprofit governed by a volunteer board of directors. It exists to ensure that the homeless population, specifically families with children, has the resources, skills and assistance necessary to thrive. It partners with area churches to provide families with a safe place to call home. All proceeds from the dance will go toward helping area families secure housing.
