Pine River to celebrate Heritage Days on Friday-Saturday

Pine River Heritage Days will run Friday-Sunday, Sept. 6-8, with various activities and historical displays.

An historical encampment will be set up Friday-Sunday at Forbes Park, along Highway 84 in Pine River, featuring tents, tepees, historical demonstrations and more. The event is free.

The Quilt Show will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Lunch will be served both days.

Saturday events also include Tea at the Depot, an RSVP fundraiser for the historic depot; and free Hobo Stew from noon until gone at the Pine River Information Center.

On Sunday, the Pine River Lions Club will host a Flapjack Feed from 7-11:30 a.m. at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Pine River.
