Hairball to perform concert in Breezy Point on Labor Day Weekend

The Northern Lakes Lightning Youth Hockey Association (NLYHA) will present Hairball in concert Saturday, Aug. 31, outside the Breezy Point Ice Arena.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. with two opening bands, including Decade 7. Hairball will take the main stage at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Advanced tickets are available at the following locations: Pequot Lakes SuperValu, Cub Foods-Brainerd and Baxter, Reed’s Market-Crosslake, C & C Boatworks-Crosslake, Billy’s Restaurant-Breezy Point, Paulbeck’s Country Market-Aitkin and Barstock Liquors-Crosby.

VIP tickets are available for $100 and include special seating, food and drink.

Proceeds will support the Northern Lakes Lightning Youth Hockey Association. “Our NLYHA fundraiser Hairball concert is great for our association,” said Brian Knox, NLYHA vice president. “We started this fundraiser last year to help subsidize the cost of ice time for our association families, and also to help cover the cost of equipment. Our association is able to supply our players with equipment from the very young, first-time players through Squirts. Our fundraiser was successful last year and we hope this year is even better.”

This event is for all ages. Visit for more information.
