Heartland Symphony Orchestra to hold annual meeting June 17
Heartland Symphony Orchestra will hold its annual membership meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Perkins Restaurant on 16th Street Northeast in Little Falls.
All HSO members and anyone interested in becoming a member are invited to attend. To qualify as a member, one must make at least a $10 annual donation or volunteer significant time serving the orchestra. Orchestra players are considered volunteers and, thus, members.
The annual meeting agenda will include election of new board members, a brief financial report, plans for next season and an open forum for those present to ask questions.
Immediately following the annual meeting, the board of directors will conduct its regular monthly business meeting. All regular meetings are attended by the full board, the orchestra manager and the business manager. Other members present may stay and observe but may not participate in the regular monthly meeting unless issues are pre-approved and appear on the agenda.
