Workshop for writing childhood memories offered

Have you ever wanted to record your childhood memories for your children and grandchildren?

Mary Jo McCarthy, author and writer, will offer a one-day workshop entitled “A Time to Remember” at Lutheran Church of the Cross, just off Highway 371 south of Nisswa, across from Schaefer’s Foods.

The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. Class size is limited to 12 for more personal attention.

Upcoming scheduled classes are Thursday, May 16, and Wednesday, June 5.

Through a series of questions, McCarthy will guide participants to write a series of stories recalling their childhood memories. At the end of the day, participants will leave with a folder full of stories, perfect for sharing with their children and grandchildren.
