'A Celtic Celebration' concert is Saturday in Pequot Lakes

The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota, composed of central Minnesota vocalists under the direction of founder and artistic director Sarah Aamot, will perform “A Celtic Celebration” concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium.

“A Celtic Celebration” includes popular Celtic folk songs, hymn tunes and dance melodies from Ireland, Wales and Scotland. The high point of the concert will be an arrangement for bagpipes and choir that includes the popular “Amazing Grace.”

Brian Solum, a professional Highland bagpiper, will perform two solo selections.

Reserve tickets by calling the Pequot Lakes Community Education office at 218-568-9200. Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (age 60 and older) and $8 for youth (age 18 and younger).

Tickets also will be sold at the door starting one hour before the concert.
